• voluntary written declaration of the president = vice president as acting president
• first written declaration by majority of the cabinet = vice president as acting president
• determination by congress by 2/3 votes of all members, voting separately, acting on the second written declaration by majority of the cabinet = vice president as acting president
• voluntary written declaration of the President

  • SEC. 11, ART. 7 = whenever the president transmits to senate president and the speaker of the HoR their written declaration that they are unable to discharge the powers and duties of their office
• first written declaration by majority of the cabinet

  • SEC. 11, ART. 7 = whenever a majority of the members of the cabinet transmit to the senate president and to the speaker of the HoR their written declaration that the president is unable to discharge the powers and duties of their duty
• determination by the 2/3 of the congress, acting on the second written declaration by majority of the cabinet

  • SEC. 11, ART. 7 = when the president transmits to the senate president and to the speaker of the HoR their written declaration that no inability exists, they shall reassume their office; however, if the majority of all members of the cabinet transmits 5 days to the senate president and speaker of HoR their written declaration that the president is unable, the congress decides on the issue within 48 hours
• determination by the 2/3 of the congress, acting on the second written declaration by majority of the cabinet

  • SEC. 11, ART. 7 = if the congress, within 10 days after the receipt of last written declaration (or if not within session, 12 days), determines by 2/3 of both Houses, voting separately, that the president is unable to discharge their power, the vice president shall act as the president
