• 1. place iodine in the drops of a spotting tile
• 2) place buffer (different pH's) solution, amylase and starch in a water bath at 25°C
• 3) mic buffer, amylase and starch for one pH
• 4) add mixture to the drop of iodine and time the colour change
• 5) repeat with other buffer solutions of different pH
