Sikolohiyang Pilipino is the connection between the culturalheritage of
indigenous Filipino people and their
IndigenousKnowledgeSystems and
Practices (IKSP).
This is a movement due to the
importance given to the following
aspects of being a Filipino: language,
history, art, religion, etc. It is
considered a response in order to have
a balance on American-centered
educational methods in studying social
issues in the Philippines.
