• Protestant christians use many forms of contraception to plan their families
• Catholic church opposes all aificail methods and isntead allow natural contraception such as only having sex during the infertile period of a woman's monthly cycle
• Other christians and some catholics believe they should use their conscience and sometimes break the rules in cases such as overpopulation and stis
• Mulsims:

  • contraception was used during the time of Muhammad and is allowed if it doesn't harm the body and both husband and wife agree
  • permanent sterilisation is not allowed
• Humanists:

  • can bring happiness to a family
  • sex is not scared and science should be used to improve the quality of life
