• Their funeral would include:

  • Music
  • Non-religious reflection
  • Reminiscences
  • Eulogy
  • Lighting candles
• The service will try and show respect for the dead person without suggesting they are going to a better place
• Funeral focuses on the separation from the dead person and the grief that people feel.
• Main focus of secular death rites is to celebrate the life of the deceased and not to refer to any beliefs of the afterlife.
