  • Elimination Tournaments
    Based on the elimination of the team or individual in each round, where the winner advances to the next round and the loser is either eliminated completely or dropped to some form of a loser's bracket
  • Single Elimination
    Also called knockout, cup, or sudden death tournament, used if there are too many participants and the time allotted is not sufficient, the easiest to organize and the quickest way to declare a winner, where any team that loses once is eliminated
  • Double Elimination
    One of the fairest types of tournament, where each entry/team must be defeated twice before being eliminated, more superior to single elimination as a team losing once has one more chance to advance toward the championship
  • Round Robin Tournament
    A system where each team plays every other team, consuming the longest period of competition but allowing the chance to select the best team, and also allowing players/teams to become better acquainted
  • Scheduling of games in Round Robin
    1. Give each team an assigned number, and then rotate the numbers counterclockwise, but keep team number 1 constant
    2. After the 3rd round, compute the number of wins over the number of losses, and the team with the greatest percentage wins is the winner, with the actual winner when they play as the deciding factor if there is a tie
    3. If there is a triple tie, the QUOTIENT SYSTEM is applied in computing the scores of the three teams involved
  • Program and invitation
    In charge of the preparation of the program and inviting guests to the program. They will distribute the invitations to the concerned people.
  • Accommodation
    In charge of the sound system, tables, chairs, and other equipment and materials to be used during the duration and the opening and closing ceremonies.
  • Documentation
    Manage all the records of the program, keep and take care of all the documents, receive information regarding the activities, and record the results of the games and other details of the competitions.

    This committee keeps, issues, and retrieves equipment and materials used in the competitions
  • Technical Committee
    This committee schedules the games, takes charge of the rules and regulations of the games, assigns officials, conducts the games, and releases official results
  • Awards Committee
    In charge of prizes and awards. If there is no fund, they will be the ones to look or solicit for prizes and awards such as trophies, medals, or cash.
  • Peace and Order Committee
    In charge of the peace and order. This committee will see to it that everything is in order, especially the athletes who will participate.
  • Protest and Discipline Committee

    This committee receives complaints or protests on infractions in the games, calls a meeting, and resolves problems.
