  • The impartiality thesis - implies that when we are making moral decision (e.g., about how to allocate goods and resources), we ought not to give any special weight to or own desires and interests; instead of giving preferential treatment to ourselves, or to members of our own particular social group.
  • Reason - is the capacity to see the interconnectedness of things.
  • Impartiality - is detaching oneself from bias.
