  • Public goods
    A good that is non-exclusive and non-rivalrous, consumers cannot be excluded from consuming the good and consumption by one person does not affect the amount of the good available for others to consume

    A good that is excludable and rival in consumption, consumers can be excluded from consuming the good and consumption by one person affects the amount of the goods available for others to consume
  • Quasi-public goods
    A good that has some, but not all of the characteristics of public goods
