To be completelyfamiliar with the organisation'sStandingOrders (the rulesconcerning the organisation and running of meetings) to make sure that the meeting is setup and runaccording to the rules of the organisation and to be able to correctly deal with any disputes and procedures.
Ensure that the previousminutes are a correct record
The Chairperson must liaise with the AdminAssistant/Secretarybefore the meeting to ensure that the Minutes of the previousmeeting have been prepared and checked.
Decide all aspects
Decide the date, time, location, Agendaitems and requirements for the meeting. Pass these to AdminAssistant to deal with.
List of attendees
Pass on the list of attendees to the AdminAssistant so that the correct people can be formallyinvited.
Approvenotice of meeting
Approve the typed up Notice of Meeting and DraftAgenda created by the AdminAssistant.
