    • retina = where the image is formed, at the back of your eyes
    • pupil = the space that reflected light moves through when entering the eye(a hole)
    • iris = the muscle that controls the size of the pupil
    • cornea = the transparent part of your outer eye
    • the retina is photoreceptive / photosensitive, which means it is sensitive to light.
    • a photoreceptor is a cell that responds to light
      rod cells = sensitive to movement and dim light
      cone cells = sensitive to bright light and color
    • the light is converted into an electrical impulse by retina and sent by optic nerve which travels to the brain
    • the image that is formed at the back of your eyes is inverted(upside down)
    • iris controls the amount of the light entering your eyes
    • lens and cornea focus light that enters your eye to retina(fovea)
    • when the image forms at your retina, it is inverted
