RESULTANT FORCES

Cards (5)

  • Newton's Third Law-
Whenever two objects interact, the forces they exert on each other are equal and opposite.
  • The acceleration of an object can be calculated from the gradient of the velocity-time graph.
  • The distance can be calculated from the area under a velocity-time graph.
  • Newton's first law-
An object at rest remains at rest, or if in motion, remains at motion at a constant velocity.
  • Newton's second law-
If the resultant force on an object is not zero, the object will accelerate on the direction of resultant force.
