Concentrations of solutions

Cards (4)

  • Equation for concentration of a solution in terms of moles:
    Concentration ( mol/dm^3) = number of moles / volume ( dm^3 )
  • When calculating concentrations of solutions, we calculate using decimeters and give our answer in centimeters
  • Equation for concentration in terms of grams:
    Concentration ( g/dm^3 ) = mass ( g ) / volume ( dm^3 )
  • 1 decimeter = 1000 centimeters
