  • The brain
    Is considered as the seat of the mind.
    •In 1664, Thomas Willis, an English doctor, concluded that the brain is responsible in mental functioning.
  • The human brain is consists of three main structures – the cerebrum, the cerebellum and the  brain stem.
  • Howard Gardner (2004), an American developmental psychologist who challenged the classical view of intelligence which depends on a single dominant ability as indicated by an I.Q. score.
  • Linguistic Intelligence
       Is the ability to use words in both, oral and written communication. People with this ability think in words rather than visuals.
  • Logico-mathematical Intelligence
       Is the ability to reason, apply logic, and work with numbers. They think in logical and numerical patterns, making connections between pieces 
  • Visual Spatial Intelligence
       Is the ability to perceive the visual. They tend to think in pictures and need to create vivid mental images to retain information. 
     
  • Musical Intelligence
       Is the ability to produce and appreciate music. These musically inclined people think in sounds, rhythms and patterns. 
     
  • Bodily Kinesthetic Intelligence
       Is the ability to control the body movements an handle objects skillfully. They express themselves best through movement because of their good sense of balance and hand-eye coordination.
  • Interpersonal Intelligence 
       Is the ability to relate to and understand other people. They can sense feelings, intentions and motivation and are adept at recognizing non- verbal language.
  • Intrapersonal Intelligence
       Is the ability to understand ourselves, who we are and what makes the way we are.
  • Naturalistic Intelligence
       Is the ability to recognize and categorize things.

       Is a graphical way to represent ideas and concepts. It is a visual thinking tool that helps structuring information, helping you to better analyze, comprehend, synthesize, recall and generate new ideas.
