  • matter became so compressed that it produced an explosion (big bang). forces of gravity joined matter into stars, etc

  • science is wrong, everything said in the bible is true
  • evidence of big bang and evolution is explained by noah's flood which changed rock formations and created fossils
  • believe in apparent age theory where the earth appears older than it was when first created (earth was 6 days when adam was born but looked like billions of years old)

  • universe is so complex that it had to have been formed by an intelligent designer (god) - couldnt have randomly happened
  • universe is dependant on many things
  • big bang and evolution couldnt haave happened by chance

  • both science and the bible is true
  • bible isnt supposed to be read literally- just says that god created everything
  • believe that god set off big bang and controlled how the world woud develop

  • god created the universes and everything in it, in a way that it produced an environment on earth suited to human life
  • world is a gift from god to humans so must be treated with care
  • humans have a responsibility to treat animals humanely and treat the land kindly
  • responsibility to leave the earth in a better way in which they found it
  • judgement day at the end of the world where people will be judged on how they have fulfilled their duty to preserve god's earth
