    • universe is so complex that it had to have been formed by an intelligent designer (god) - couldnt have randomly happened

    • bible isnt supposed to be read literally- just says that god created everything
    • believe that god set off big bang and controlled how the world woud develop

    • god created the universes and everything in it, in a way that it produced an environment on earth suited to human life

    • humans have a responsibility to treat animals humanely and treat the land kindly
    • responsibility to leave the earth in a better way in which they found it
    • judgement day at the end of the world where people will be judged on how they have fulfilled their duty to preserve god's earth
