    Computer information can be represented through audio, video, and animation in addition to traditional media. It is a sequential or simultaneous use of a variety of media formats (people, text, visual, motion, audio, and manipulative) in a given presentation or self-study.
  • Origin of the word 'multimedia'
    From the Latin roots 'multi' meaning several or many, and 'media' meaning in the middle. This tells us that multimedia involves several forms of communication to connect the sender and receiver.
