    • Dorsal Recumbent - patient lies on the back with the lower extremities moderately flex and rotated outward
    • Lithotomy Position - involves the positioning of an individual's feet above or at the same level as the hips with the perineum position at the edge of an examination table 
    • Pivoting - a technique in which the body is turned in a way that avoids twisting of the spine
