• One of Allah’s characteristics is ‘Al-Adl’ meaning ‘the just’. Muslims therefore strive to be fair and to promote justice in their daily lives. One of the meanings of islam is ‘peace’ through promoting human rights and equality. Muslims hope to help obtain this for everyone 
• Hadith (sahih Al-Bukhari 56: 681) the prophet Muhammed is quoted as saying ‘by Allah, if my daughter Fatimah committed theft, i would cut off her hand’ the verse means that - the prophet was committed to treating everyone equally
• 1. Islam teaches that Muslims are not allowed to convert people to islam by force. They are taught to be sensitive to other people’s religious beliefs . Eg. they are forbidden to insult the idols of other religions. Some Muslims think that only Muslims can go to paradise when they die
• • Religious Exclusivit: Says only their faith is true and other religions are false
  • Religious Inclusivist: says their faith is completely right and other religions have only part of the truth
  • Religious Pluralist: says that all faiths have an equal claim to truth
