  • Continuous - measurements that can take any value from an infinite range.
  • Discrete - counted finitely (nabibilang)
  • Categorical data - take non numerical values such as color, information or questions answerable by yes or no.
  • Observation - focuses determining the changes in the attitude, characteristics and behaviours of people or other subject.
  • Interviews- being performed through personally asking questions to people who have the authority or expertise to say something about the data.
  • Focus Group Discussion (FGD)- use to know things, feeling or opinion with a small group common field (6 to 8 people).
  • Questionnaire - is used when we want to gather information on a large scale.
  • Closed questions - these questions are answered by "yes" or "no"
  • Multiple-choice question - questions provides a certain numbers of specific response options as possible answers.
  • Open-ended questions - questions allows someone to give free form answer.

  • Observation method - gathered either individually or collecting by means of observation.
  • Experiment method - we use our 5 sense if we are gathering this type of method.
  • Frequency - number of occurences of a data.
  • Frequency table - a table of lists of items and shows the number of times the items occur.
  • Pie chart - representation of data, through categorize areas.
