• RunningStitches - easiest stitch for outlining
• BackStitches - most often used to outline, form a base the line
• ChainStitch - most popular stitches used for outlining
• CrossStitch - two crossing areas, use for outlining, borders, fill in an entire area
• SeedStitch - rice grain stitch
• LazyDaisyChainStitch - work in a circle, resemble the petals of a flowers
• FrenchKnot - single detache straight
• BullionStitch - a single detached stitch that is used for filling in a design area, use a needle
• FeatherStitch - with a loop and stitches evenly worked on both left and right
• FishBone - ideas for making leaves ir feather, requires to devide to pattern
• SatinStitch - solid filling stitch, used to cover a design area with, long strenght stitches
• SplitStitch - done using quite thick threads such as wool. Used as an oulining
• Stem - use for flower stems and outline
• HearingBone - overlapping stich
• LoopedStitch - very decorative stitch can create wonderful effect on a pattern
