  • Concept Paper - A type of text that discusses or clarifies the “whatness”of idea/term
  • Concept Paper - Provides an overview of the concept that you want to work on/propose
  • Concept Paper in the Academe - Something we prepare before the actual research. It is something that is done before a full-blown research paper is carried out, implemented, or approved for funding.
  • Concept paper in the Workplace - It contains a proposed idea that may not be detailed yet, but somehow provides the reader a framework or an overview of how it can be carried out or implemented.
  • Concept paper in the Workplace - When presented, the concept paper should give a clear picture. IT IS A PROJECT PROPOSAL
  • Project Proposal - A statement of work that requests for financial assistance to implement a project
  • In order to be successful, your document should be :
    • Clear
    • Accurate & Objective
    • Accessible
    • Correct
    • Concise
    • Understandable
    • Based on Facts
  • Clear - Articulate the activities for the  proposed project. It should be specific.
  • Accurate & Objective - Show the idea’s relationship to past actions
  • Accessible - Illustrate the significance of the idea
  • Correct - Should be grammatically sound
  • Concise - Provide a logical presentation of a research idea
  • Understandable - It gives in detail how exactly you plan to implement the project
  • Based on Facts - It justifies how it supports the company’s causes
  • Contents of Project Proposal
    • Project Title - Use ACRONYMS (Ex: MAD: Make a  Difference)

    • Description of the project - How you plan to curry it out (methods and procedure)

    • Project Duration - starting from planning/proposal period
