Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). Comes 10 days after Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. These ten days are called the 'Days of awe' and are a period of timededicated to asking for forgiveness for the previous year's wrongdoings
Jews can show they forgive the actions of criminals by supporting the work of prison chaplains
