Waves CSA

Cards (12)

  • Reflection: Is when light waves bounces of an object.
  • Transmission: Is when light goes through an object.
  • Absorption: Is when light is being stored in an object, and cant go through.
  • Refraction: is when light is bent as it passes through the object
  • Amplitude is the distance from crest to equilibrium.
  • Energy is amplitude squared.
  • Angle of Incidence : The angle in which the object is giving light to the other object.
  • The angle of reflection is the angle in which the light reflects off the object.
  •  Angle of incidence and the angle of reflection are equal.
  • Transparent means that light can go through the object.
  • Translucent is when light can pass through the object but not fully.
  • Opaque is when light cannot pass through the object.
