    • The seperation of the sanctuary shows how God is Holy so only some parts people can enter
    • The priests and ministers come down from the sanctuary to the nave to show how God’s movement to humanity
    • The ”nave means ship - the worshippers are in Christ’s boat
  • Passion plays:
    • They convey the message of salvation and forgiveness
    • Some people need visual aids but some express their belief by using actions
    • Rituals, symbolif actions and costumes are used at the alter
    • Each mass is kind of like a drama as well as the retelling of christs sacrifice
