set up a boiling test tube, 5cm away from the light source, measure using a ruler
fill the tube with a fixed volume of sodium hydrogen carbonate solution
put the pondweed into the solution and let in settle for 5 minutes
count the bubbles released in one minute
record the amount of bubbles in a table
repeat the practical at different distances e.g 10cm, 15cm, 20cm
