  • Vertical lines – stability, dignity, solemnity, joy, happiness, strength, majesty
  • Slanting/diagonal line– gives a feeling of motion, lose of control and instability 
  • Straight jagged line/broken line – suggests disorderliness and violent action
  • Curved lines/scrolled line – express continuity, life energy action and pleasure
  • Color is defined as the physical phenomenon of light or vision associated with the various wave lengths in the visible portion of electromagnetic spectrum
  • Primary Colors - Red, Blue, Yellow
  • Secondary Colors - Orange, Green, Violet
  • Analogous colors are groups of three colors that are next to each other on the color wheel
  • Complementary colors are pairs of colors which, when combined or mixed, cancel each other out by producing a grayscale color like white or black
  • Complementary colors may also be called "opposite colors"
