Particularism - Emphasizes the significance of personal relationships, context, and situational
factors in guiding behavior and decision making
Individualism -Prioritizes the rights, needs, and goals of the individual over those of the group or community
Collectivism - Prioritizes the interests, needs, and goals of the group or community over those of individual
Specific - Social relationships are compartmentalized and boundaries are clearly defined. Individuals tend to separate different aspects of their lives and interactions into distinct
categories
Diffuse - Individuals tend to integrate different aspects of their lives and interactions into a holistic, interconnected whole
Achievement - Societies are characterized by social stratification based on individual achievement, merit, and performance
Ascription - Societies are characterized by social stratification based on inherited traits, such
as family background, ethnicity, gender or age
Sequential - Refers to a process or series or events that occur in a specific order or sequence, with each step following the previous one
Synchronous - Refers to activities or events that occur simultaneously or in real time coordination with each other
Inner-Directed - Refers to an individual’s tendency to rely on their own inner values, beliefs, and goals to guide their behavior and decision making
Outer-Directed - Refers to an individual’s tendency to rely on external sources of validation,
authority, or social norms to guide their behavior and decision making
