Introduction

• • Despite the government’s efforts to control social media misuse through stringent laws, these measures are not the only and most effective means in ensuring people do not  use social media carelessly.
  • People often circumvent these laws, and even when punished, they continue to recklessly use social media while neglecting the consequences.
  • Not only will they fail to learn from the consequences of their actions, but this in turn, leads to repeated irresponsible behaviour on social media
• Hence, i believe we should instead address this issue through

  • encouraging empathy among one another 
  • educating kids to be digitally literate
  • parents demonstrating kids on using social media more responsibly
