• Correlation

  positive - as one increases so does the other

  negative - as one increases , the other decreases

  zero correlation - points are randomly scattered
• Causation

  when one variable causes a change in another
• LOBF/ regression line

  y = ax+b

  a = gradient

  b = y - intercept
• SRCC

  measures strength of correlation between 2 variables, closer to 0 the weaker the correlation
• PMCC

  measures the strength of linear correlation between 2 variables
