  • Critical Reading - Presenting a reasoned argument that evaluates and analyzes what you have read.
  • Academic Sense - Understanding fully but not dismissing or closing off learning.
  • What the text describes - You can be confident that you can give examples and make a significant points, compare, contrast, and notice the style that it was presented.
  • What the text says - After reading the essay it is important to make some notes and paraphrase in your own words.
  • What is the interpretation of the text - Your understanding of what has been presented is given priorities and facts are weigh and main points are put into considerations.
  • Explicit Information - The information stated in the text or it is DIRECT.
  • Explicit Information - readers can see the piece of information stated in the given passage.
  • Implicit Information - The information is not DIRECTLY presented or INDIRECT using sensory details and figurative language
  • Implicit Information - Need to read between the lines to understand the details that the eriter is telling us.
