    • Method of organization of two main sections: problem and solution.

    • A tool used in improving and organizing ideas about a topic in logical order.

    • Presents the thesis statement in sentence form.

    • Type of outline which presents the major and subtopics and supporting details in the form of words and phrases.
  • Thesis statement
    • One sentence that expresses the main idea of an essay.
  • Major topics
    • Refer to the major phrases/sentences are formed from the thesis statement.
  • Subtopics
    • Refers to the minor phrases/sentences which are formed from the major topics.
  • Supporting details
    • Provide additional information to clarify or prove the main idea.

    • Putting multiple sources together to make a cohesive argument.

    • Restates the main idea or gives a generalization that sets the tone of finality

    • Every sentences develop the point made in the topic sentence

    • Refers to the way you organize and arrange your ideas
  • Coherence
    • The quality that makes your writing comprehensible
  • Emphasis
    • Writer want to make his point evident by providing a good interesting introduction
  • Completeness
    • Means your paragraph is well-developed.
