• Order of the Garter - Invested to Earl of Oxford in 1486 for assistance at Bosworth. 37 awarded between 1485-1509.
• Peerage reduced from 62 in 1485 to 42 in 1509
• Justices of the Peace:

  1485 - Given power to arrest poachers and hunters

  1491 - Given power to grant bail

  1495 - Given power to vet Jurors
• King's Council: 227 attendees between 1485-1509, only 6-7 on working council
• Patronage: 3 Earls, 2 Viscounts and 8 Barons created compared to Edward IV's 9, 2 and 13
• Acts of Attainder - 138 passed, 46 reversed.

  Earl of Surrey - Imprisoned under attainder for supporting Richard III at Bosworth. Later reversed after helping to quash Yorkshire rebellions.

  Thomas Tyrell paid £1,738 to reverse father's attainder

  Stanley placed under attainder and fined £9,000
• Laws against retaining passed 1487 - Lord Bergavenny convicted in 1507 for retaining 471 men. Fined £70,650
• Placement - Nobles moved from home country - i.e. Surrey sent North
• Feudal Dues - payments for wardship and marriage
• Bonds - fines paid over a period of time - E.G. Marquess of Dorset to pay £10,000 over Simnel plot
• Recognisances - Fines of a set amount to be paid if further disloyalty displayed - i.e. Earls of Westmorland, Northumberland and Viscount Powicke after Battle of Bosworth
