  • aimed to investigate whether people with external or internal locus of control of more likely to be obedient using a questionnaire.
  • The hypothesis was:
    there will be a significant difference in obedience measured by scores on a self report questionnaire between participants with an internal and external locus of control measured by the self-report.
  • The study use an opportunity sample of people available at the college at the time all ages 16 to 18 and 20 participants were included.

    The sample is not very representative of the target population due to only collecting 20 participants so the study is not proportionate.
