  • Jacques Charles - The relationship between the volume of a gas and its temperature was discovered by him.
    • Charles’ Law states that at constant pressure, the volume of a confined gas is directly proportional to its absolute (K) temperature. This only means that the volume of a gas increases as its temperature increases.

  • avogadro's law - the volume of a gas is directly related to the number of moles (n) of gas.
