• Changes in quality of life- "miserable, laborious and short" to "hunger, hardship and disappointment being ... the unalterable law of life"
• commandment changes (killing)- "no animal shall kill any other animal" to "no animal shall kill any other animal without cause"
• Commandment changes(alcohol)- "no animal shall drink alcohol" to "no animal shall drink alcohol to excess"
• commandments(equality)- "all animals are equal" to "all animals are equal but some are more equal than others"
• Napoleon (looks)- "rather fierce-looking"
• Napoleon( actions)- "napoleon acted swiftly and ruthlessly" "they were all slain on the spot" "beasts of england had been abolished" "the truest happiness ... lay in working hard and living frugally"
• Benjamin- "nodded his muzzel with a knowing air ... but would say nothing"
