    PNF stretches - requires a partner to help you stretch

    Speed agility and quickness (SAQ) - focus on these aspects
  • Strength, muscular endurance & power training
    Free weights - dumbbells, reps & sets
    Circuit training - a workout involving many stations targeting different parts of the body
    Plyometric - lunging, hopping, jumping
  • Aerobic endurance training

    Continuous training- same type for about 30 minutes
    Fartlek training- Slow, medium, fast, different terrain
    Interval training- Training with short rests in between
  • Speed training
    Acceleration sprints- jogging into running until max speed is reached
    Interval training- Training with rests inbetween
