vulnerability (classification of vulnerability)

• physical vulnerability pertains to the physical aspect of the community, the people and the infastructure. It also may pertain to the location of the community.
• social vulnerability is the capability of the community to survive the hostile effects of threats of disasters.
• economic vulnerability this type of vulnerability may be associated with the financial status of a person to stay in a safer place and build a safer home.
• enviromental vulnerability even our environment and natural resources are also vulnerable to disasters. for instances our forests are vulnerable to wildfires brought by some human negligence or by lightning
• vulnerability: RA 10121 Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010 vulnerability is defined as the characteristics and circumstances of a community system or resource that make it suspectible to the damaging effects of hazard.
