The human digestive system consists of the alimentary canal and accessory organs
Alimentary Canal is made up of mouth, pharynx, oesophagus, stomach, small intestine (duodenum, jejunum, ileum), large intestine (cecum, colon, rectum) and anus.
Accessory Organs are salivary glands, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, teeth and tongue.
Liver produces bile which helps emulsify fats so they can be digested by lipases.
