  • God as omnipotent - God is all powerful and can do anything he wants, God's power is shown through the way he created the world, and Christians believe that god is in control of everything.
    God as omnibenevolent - God is all loving, they accept that he loves and cares for his creation
    God is just - God is fair and just, Christianity teachers that God will judge humans after death in a fair and unbiased way
    God is omniscient - God is all knowing
  • The Trinity - The Christian belief that there are three persons who make up one God; The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit
  • Fundamental Christians - the Bible is literally true, because the Bible is the literal 'word of God'

    Literalist do not accept scientific explanations about the creation of the universe.

    Liberal Christians - God created the world but not exactly how the story in the bible says (metaphorical)
    science and religion together explains creation, the bible explains why creation happened and science explains how.
  • Resurrection
    Christians believe that death is not the end. they believe that the resurrection of Jesus, when he came back to life from the dead, prove life after death
  • Judgement
    Christians accept god is just and it is god who will decide the destination of every human's soul after death. they believe that Jesus will offer the opportunity of salvation
  • Heaven
    Christians believe heaven is a physical place, but most think it is spiritual state of being united with god for eternity
  • Hell
    Where unrepentant sinners go after death if they have not accepted God's offer of forgiveness and salvation through Jesus
  • The Soul
    Death is only the end of the body; the soul is immortal
  • The Last Supper - Jesus shared his last meal with his disciples where bread was broken and wine was drunk. Jesus predicted that one disciple would betray him. Judas had betrayed him by telling the soldiers where Jesus could be found.
    Crucifixion - Jesus was sent to death on a cross as he was accused of blasphemy, tried and found guilty.
    Resurrection- Jesus was brought back to life three days after his crucifixion.
    Ascension - the resurrected Jesus ascended to heaven 40 days after his resurrection.
  • salvation - being saved from sin and being admitted to heaven, Jesus was perfect and without sin, offered redemption for humans through sacrificing his life+
    atonement - humans are reconciled to and forgiven by God through the death of Jesus
