In 2018 China provided the United nations 8% of the budget for that year and 8000 reserve troops.
As part of the UN China has recently been involved in imposing sanctions to denuclearise North Korea.

At the 2018 G20 summit China and the US agreed to prevent introducing additional tartariffs on eachother.
China wants to rule Taiwan again whilst the US protects it.
In 2018 China and the US disagreed on imposing further sanctions against north Korea.
In June 2018 US defence secretary met with president xi to discuss developmentinsoutheastAsia. Xi stated that he wouldn't give an inch of territory to the US.

The EU has criticised China for not doing enough to prevent counterfeit goods. 60% of counterfeit goods confiscated in the EU are thought to be from China.
