through it during the contraction of the left ventricle.

the eye.
External maxillary (facial) artery: lowerjaw
Carotid artery: Side of the neck

Radial artery: on the side of the wrist
Femoral artery: in the groin
Popliteal artery behind the knee ( poplitealfossa )

Branchial artery: above the elbow, innerside
Posteriortibial artery: behind the inner ankle
Dorsalispedis artery: on the upper frontpart of the foot
