    Act of Six Articles, Heresy laws and Treason Act repealed, Chantries act passed with destruction of Catholic altars and Icons.
  • 1548: Church images banned
  • 1549: Act of Uniformity bans latin mass, enforced book of Common Prayer, eucharist changed. Sparked Western Rebellion.
  • 1551: Removal of Catholic Bishops - Gardiner, Bonner, Day, Heath and Tunstall. Services rewritten, Communion reformed.
  • 1552: New Treason Act - cannot question Royal Supremacy or Church of England Doctrine.
    Second Act of Uniformity - became an offense for clergy not to attend services
    Second Book of Common Prayer - all traces of Catholicism removed.
    42 Articles of Religion - Cranmer, Outlined Protestant Doctrine of Church of England.
