• Alternative Airway Clearance Techniques:

  • Alternative airway clearance techniques should be offered to the patient if ACBT + GAP is not effective or is disliked by the patient
  • Important to offer a choice of airway clearance techniques to enhance patient satisfaction and promote adherence with airway clearance regimen
  • General consensus is that the evidence shows that the Flutter/Acapella/PEP (when used in conjunction with the FET) are as effective as ACBT
