sin and salvation

• 'for god so loved the world he gave his one and only son that whosoever believes in Him will not period but have everlasting life'
• 'for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord'

• sins are thoughts or actions that separate humans from god
• original sin: the belief that we r born with a built in tendency to sin, came from adam and eve who committed the first sin, caused separation from god
• salvation is to be saved from sin
• 'faith without action is dead'
• 'for it is by grace you have been saved'
• 'jesus is the atoning sacrifice for our sins and not only for ours but for the sins of the whole world'
