• moment of force = force x perpendicular distance from the pivot to the line of action of the force
• Speed = distance / time (m/s)
• Acceleration = change in velocity / time taken to change velocity.
• Velocity = speed x direction
• Resultant force = mass x acceleration (N)
• Weight = mass x acceleration due to gravity (N)
• Momentum = mass x velocity
• Force applied = spring constant x extension
