    Demand variable occur because the participants guess the aim of the study. Either from the situation of the experiments or their surroundings

    The investigator Drops clues about the aim of the study either consciously or unconsciously. Any unwanted influence from the investigator on the research

    The participants will either try to sabotage the experiment( the screw u effect) or ( please U effect) were they act how they believe the researcher wants them to act, what the study is looking for. It is unnatural behaviour

    They might be convincing the participants their actions are correct and causing unnatural behaviour. Also may cause bias

    They can be controlled by having a single blind study
