  • Nasal bulb recognizes chemical smells individually, processed by the limbic system NOT the thalamus
• Kinesthesis

  • Position of individual body parts
  • Receptor cells are muscles
• Vestibular Sense

  • Position of head and neck - balance
  • Receptor cells are semicircular canals of the inner ear
• Bottom Up vs. Top Down processing

  • When we go in with an expectation we can misinterpret reality and be susceptible to illusion
• Subliminal priming may be possible but isn't drastically changing anyone's behavior or persuading people
