• Art Song - It is a poem expressed in music, a short vocal solo piece based on a poem that is often accompanied by the piano.
• Lied is a German art song.
• A lieder refers to a group of German art songs.
• Strophic Form - plays the same melody in all stanza.
• Through-Composed Music - Each stanza of the poem is sung to a new music
• Erkling - It is also known as, “Elf King”.
• Erkling - This was an art song composed by Franz Schubert, which was based on the poem by Johann Wolfgang.
