2. Click Print
3. Enter the number of copies
4. Select the printer and settings

Linking text boxes in Publisher 2013
When a text box is not large enough to contain all the text, you can use the linking feature to connect text boxes so that text overflows or continues from one text box to the next
Copy the given text about trees and paste it in the lower-left text box

1. Select the left text box
2. Click the FORMAT tab under TEXT BOX TOOLS and in the Linking group click Create Link
3. The cursor changes to the link icon
4. Click in the text box that you want to link to
5. The text boxes are now linked

Drop Cap
A text-formatting style that enlarges the first letter of the selected text
Using Drop Cap
1. Select the text
2. In the Typography group, click Drop Cap
3. Select a style from the Drop Cap gallery
4. Use the Custom Drop Cap option to customise the drop cap
Number Style
An option to style numbers so they match the formatted text
Stylistic Sets
An option that shows a set of styles for a specific font
Swash
An option that enables decorative elements for the characters of certain fonts
Stylistic Alternates
An option that allows alternative character shapes for some fonts
Ligatures
Connections between characters that create a single character out of one or more characters, improving text readability
Publisher 2013 is a program that allows creating professional documents such as brochure, label, card, certificate, flyer, etc.
There are two types of guides: margin guides and customisable guides
When you select the text box, two tabs - DRAWING TOOLS and TEXT BOX TOOLS - appear on the screen
The FORMAT tab under TEXT BOX TOOLS has commands related to formatting of text
The FORMAT under DRAWING TOOLS tab has commands related to formatting the text box
The Create Link option connects text boxes so that the text continues from one text box to the next
The typography features in Publisher 2013 include Drop Cap, Number Style, Ligatures, Stylistic Sets, Swash, and Stylistic Alternates
Template is a pre-defined design layout that saves time while designing
Objects are the elements you place in your publication
Guides are horizontal and vertical lines that appear on your publication while editing, helping in aligning text, images, and other objects on the page
The Scratch Area is the grey area around the publication page where objects can be placed before insertion in the publication page
