To Joseph's surprise the angel Gabriel, who was sent by God appeared to him in a dream and confirmed that the child Mary is carry was conceived by the holy spirt

When Joseph woke from his dream he followed what the Angel Gabriel revealed to him in the dream and went to join Mary

For no word from God will ever fail
