    Biosphere, atmosphere (air), hydrosphere (water), Lithosphere (land)
  • Cause of environmental change?
    Natural environment, human induced, interconnection
  • What is climate change?
    Refers to the change in weather patterns over large time scales. It is a natural process
  • What are the impacts of environmental change?
    Environmental (physical), economic, social
  • What is PQE?
    P= general patter (describe the most obvious patter of distribution)
  • What is Q and E?
    Q= quantify (give4-5 examples that fit into the pattern you use)
    E= exceptions (examples that do not fit into the general pattern)
  • The process of PQE?
    P= Pattern (begins with the title of the map and uses directions, what does it look like)
    Q= Quantify (gives as many examples from the map as you can, examples covering names of places, countries etc)
    E= Exception (Final sentence or two, adding where it is and why its an exception, start the sentence with "The exception to the rule is")
  • What are the SHEEPT factors
    S = Social - people , culture , region
    H = historical - actions events from the past
    E = Economic - earning or spending money
    E = Environment - Influence of characteristics of human environments
    P= Political - Government and impacts of their decisions
    T = Technological - Influence and uses of different types of technology
